Does the Museum offer tours?
Yes, there are many tour options including: daily walk-in tours, special member-only tours or pre-scheduled group and school tours.
Is the Museum accessible to disabled people?
The Museum and Museum Store are not wheelchair accessible due to the historic nature of the home. There are some stairs leading to the front door of the Museum, where tours begin. Once inside, there is a staircase leading to the second floor that is wide and navigable for most people using canes or crutches. The Museum Store is on the second floor.
Can I check my coat?
Yes, the docent will gladly store your coat for you prior to your tour.
Is photography permitted?
Yes, visitors may take photographs.
Can I touch the items in the collection?
We have many touchables in our collection. Please check with your docent before touching any items in the house.

Can I have a wedding or other private event at the Museum?

Is smoking allowed?
No, the Wornall House Museum is a smoke-free environment.
I’d like to bring my pet to the Museum—may I?
Only trained guide animals are permitted inside the Museum. Leashed dogs, however, are welcome on the lawn.
Can I have my antiques appraised by the Museum?
Museum staff cannot provide information on the monetary value or condition of your antiques.
