School Tours
The Wornall House is pleased to offer field trips that adhere to educational standards. When you book a field trip, we will design the experience to meet your specific curriculum goals. A visit to the John Wornall House Museum is the perfect way to supplement a unit on Missouri history, Civil War history, women’s history, history of slavery, and more. Bringing busses of children? No problem! For an additional fee, you may choose to add a variety of hands-on activities to your tour.
Basic Field Trip Tour
A basic field trip includes a one-hour tour through the house with the opportunity to look closely at artifacts and even handle some. Knowledgeable guides will help students get a firsthand look at lives in the 1850’s.
Reservations
Reservations are required for school groups and may be made by calling 816 444-1858 or email kandice@wornallhouse.org. If you are planning a trip, please make reservations as early as possible. We will make every effort to accommodate you.
